Established on April 14, 2000, Wishing Well Of India is a fully licensed restaurant located at 966 Toorak Road, Camberwell South, Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.For over two decades, we have been dedicated to providing our customers with exceptional food and service, ensuring that each dining experience is memorable.
Our menu showcases a wide array of traditional Indian dishes, including favorites like butter chicken, chicken tikka, and beef vindaloo. We take pride in our tandoori oven, which allows us to prepare authentic meals such as tandoori chicken and lamb kebabs, capturing the rich flavors of Indian cuisine.
Beyond our delectable offerings, we specialize in outdoor catering, bringing the vibrant tastes of India to various events and gatherings. Additionally, we offer a private function room upstairs, perfect for intimate celebrations or corporate events. To accommodate our customers' needs, we provide free express delivery and are open for dinner seven nights a week.

We just ate two stunning takeaway curries from here and I was so impressed I had to write a review. Lamb do piyaza ($21.50), a chicken cashew creamy curry (forgot the name, $20ish) and two cheese/garlic naans - of which I could actually taste yum garlic (I’m usually disappointed elsewhere). Branch out from your butter chickens people and try something new! I could taste every individual spice in the do piyaza. Mmm can’t wait to eat from here again

We dined in and were only diners. The service was immaculate and the food absolutely first class. We had the shared platter, which could be a meal on its own. Beef Vindaloo, Chicken Jalfraz and the best lamb saag we have ever had. The portions are a healthy size and very good value for money. We had so much that we had to request doggy bags. Good selection of wines. All in all one the best Indian restaurants we have ever been to and we love our Indian food.
